Why is lighting necessary?
The sensor in a machine vision camera is a light sensor that captures contrast with extremely short exposure times. To facilitate measurements, optimum lighting is essential at the moment the image is captured. Lighting that is adequate for the human eye, is insufficient for machine vision applications. Your objective determines the type of lighting required.

Lighting: advice and support
We work with a selection of A brands for lighting machine vision systems. They offer a wide range of technologies with high clarity, uniformity and service life. These include ring, spot, line, square, strobe and coaxial lighting. Our engineers have extensive knowledge of lighting and experience with various combinations and applications.

In our experience centre, we can organise a demo of various products and systems for you. With custom advice, we ensure that the lighting delivers the required results. If, after purchase, you encounter issues in practice, our support department will be only too pleased to assist you.
