DVC Machinevision b.v. (DVC) and its work organization consider good handling of personal data of great importance. That is why we want to give you clear and transparent information in this privacy policy about how DVC processes personal data of members, relations with prospects, customers, participants of workshops and visitors to our website.

Naturally, this personal data will be treated and secured with the utmost care. DVC adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

This means that we:

  • clearly state - via this privacy statement - with what purposes we process personal data;
  • limit our collection of personal data to the personal data necessary for those purposes only;
  • process your personal data to fulfill our objectives and ask you for permission in cases this permission is required;
  • take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and this also require of parties that process personal data in our order;

What's our purpose to store your personal data?

There are various purposes for which DVC collects and processes your personal data. As part of our services to business relations, DVC collects and processes contact details, including your name, company, position, (mobile) telephone number, email address and company address details:

  • When you purchase products and / or services from DVC. This can be done via our website or via our sales department;
  • When you have contact with DVC. This contact can be by telephone, but this also implies if you approach us by e-mail, fill in the contact form, participate in surveys, or (panel) surveys, register for workshops or information meetings, use our website, log in to your account, sign up for newsletters or approach us via social media;
  • For internal analyzes for process improvement, the development of products and services and market research;
  • To keep our relations of our (new) products and services up to date, directly but also through campaigns via social media, where DVC tries to take into account preferences based on purchased products and / or services and interests based on your permission recorded use of our website.

Specific for our clients

Company details of our customers, as far as legal persons are concerned,  the GDPR regulations don't apply. The GDPR regulations do apply for data from private customers. The details of the contact persons of our customers can also be regarded as personal data. All our services are provided, based on a  mutual contract. That is the basis for the processing of personal data. For example, we store the name, position, gender, telephone number and (business) email address of our contacts. The data is processed with the goal of providing our services as well and efficient possible to our customers. We never provide your details to a third party, unless we are legally obliged to do so or if you give us explicit permission to do so.

Newsletter and contact form

We offer you a newsletter in which we inform interested parties about our services, products and developments. Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your prior permission. Each newsletter contains a link making  unsubscribing possible. If you fill in a contact form on the website or send us an e-mail, the data you send us will be kept for as long as the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail is required for the complete answering and processing of that.

Your e-mail address will also be used to send information about (new) products and services by DVC if you have given permission for this. You can withdraw this permission at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the sent e-mail or by sending an e-mail to DVC, stating 'AVG unsubscribe' to the e-mail address: op@machinevision.nl.

Publication

We handle your data confidentially and will not publish it.

Providing personal data to third parties

Your information will only be provided by us to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a product or service agreed with you or with your company. To protect your rights, we have    processing agreements with these third parties (partners). Our website contains measuring instruments from other parties, such as cookies from Google Analytics. The data is automatically shared with this company and we do this to keep track of  the use our website. We use this knowledge to optimize our website for our visitors.

Security

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data, DVC uses technical and organizational security procedures. These procedures guarantee an appropriate level of security with regard to the types of processing and the nature of the personal data to be protected.

Changes to this privacy statement

DVC reserves the right to make changes to the privacy and cookie policies. We therefore advise you to regularly check on this page if changes have been made. If DVC makes an important change, which has consequences for the way in which DVC processes your personal data, we will make this known through a notification on our website or in a newsletter.
