Matrox Imaging Library (MIL)—and soon, Matrox Design Assistant—software include powerful photometric stereo tools.

What is photometric stereo?

In short, a technique to synthesize a composite, enhanced-contrast image from a series of source images. It removes specular reflections when looking at something behind a transparent wrapper.
