the Basler ToF 3D camera

Tof-camera.jpg The Basler Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera is an industrial 3D camera based on the pulsating Time-of-Flight principle. The camera is equipped with 8 high-power LEDs, which work in the NIR wavelengths (850nm) and generates 2D and 3D data per recording. This image is made up of several parts; consisting of a range, intensity and correctness measurement.

Advantages ToF

The Basler ToF camera is particularly striking due to the combination of a high resolution (VGA) and powerful features, at a very attractive price. This excellent price / performance ratio puts the Basler ToF camera in a unique position on the market and distinguishes it significantly from the competition.

How does a ToF camera work?

tof-werking.jpg The measuring principle is based on the time that light takes to travel from the light source to the object and back to the camera. The further the distance, the longer it takes. Both the light source and the image acquisition are synchronized in such a way that the distance can be extracted and calculated from the image data. Click here or on the banner below for more information.
